



Organizing a workshop entitled Practical Applications of Public Contracting
The Electronics Research Institute, headed by Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader Muharram, a workshop entitled “Practical Applications of Public Contracting”, in cooperation with the General Authority for Government Services, as a culmination of a series of training programs that were organized in the fields of public contracting, warehouse management, and government vehicle operation control management, for the two years in the various institute departments for private and public staff. In cooperation with the General Authority for Government Services.
Dr. stated. Sherine Abdel Qader said that organizing the workshop was based on the Institute’s interest in developing the financial and administrative work system, ensuring the efficiency and good management of the Institute’s budget, which reflects positively on the quality of research and administrative work. To achieve the strategic goals of the Institute, she pointed out that the workshop aims to develop the capabilities of employees in the Institute’s various departments related to the legal and practical rules and procedures in government contracts.
As confirmed by Dr. Sherine Muharram stressed that the training comes within the mechanisms for implementing the institute’s strategy towards achieving comprehensive quality in the performance of services and administrative procedures, pointing to the importance of this workshop and previous courses in the same field, noting the importance of benefiting from the training content obtained in improving the level and quality of service and timings. specified time frame.
The head of the institute explained that the workshop included several topics, including: how to prepare the annual needs plan - practical applications on how to prepare and design the annual needs plan - approval of the needs plan from the competent authorities - practical simulation of the original and exceptional contracting methods and the formation of various committees.
Present at the workshop activities were Mr. Tharwat Zarad, Director of the Small Projects Department, Mr. Issam Rashad, Director of the Training Center, and Mr. Mohamed Samir, Director of the Automotive Department.
It is worth noting that the training series for the institute’s employees aimed to train 25 trainees from private and public staff, over the course of three training courses, through joint cooperation with the General Authority for Government Services, in the institute’s training halls equipped with the latest training methods
