Higher education and scientific research: Electronics resea organizes qualifying competitions for the African Innovation and Technology Forum
Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, checked out a report submitted by Dr. Sherin Abdul Qadir Muharram, President of the Institute for Electronics Research on the organization of the qualifying competitions for the African Forum for Innovation and Technology in its third edition, within the framework of supporting the Institute for technology, science, innovation, the industry of electronics and modern technologies and their interest Maha for the youth and children of innovators and innovators.
The African Forum for Innovation and Technology qualifying competitions at the Institute were held under the slogan “A new generation of advanced Africa”, with the presence of 300 students of various age stages; to compete in robotics, video games and software design events, Technological Begins, Advanced Innovative Projects.
The report has qualified 14 teams to represent Egypt for the Dubai 2020 forum finals under the joint cooperation between the Electronics Research Institute and Technospace.
And I confirmed the dr. Sherin Muharram said that this year’s African Innovation and Technology Forum serves Africa’s Sustainable Development Goals, addresses the role of technology and artificial intelligence in developing the health, agriculture, education and industry sectors in Africa, with the participation of 22 African countries.
It is worth noting that the first edition of the forum was held in Luxor, with the participation of 3 teams from 7 African countries, and the second edition of the Forum was held at the Electronics Research Institute with the participation of 6 teams from 8 African countries, of different age levels ranging from the age of 5 to the age of one. Counting university education; aiming to search for Scientific and practical solutions in IO things, problem solving and solution designing, components and programming in agriculture, industry, health, real estate, smart cities, while learning the basics of entrepreneurship.
