Opening of the Electrokids nursery for the children of ERI employees
Confirming the service and community role of the Electronics Research Institute.Within the framework of the Electronics Research Institute’s interest in supporting and providing community services to its affiliates with family responsibilities, and in line with the laws and what was approved by the International Labor Organization regarding maternity protection in the field of work as one of the basic and necessary labor rights to promote the health of the mother and child, Prof. Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader Muharram, President of the Electronics Research Institute, incubated "ElectroKids" for the children of the Institute's private and public cadres.
During the events, Prof. Dr. Shereen Muharram said that the opening of the nursery came in implementation of the provisions for caring for working mothers contained in the Civil Service Law and the Child Law, and in light of the Minister of Manpower and Immigration Decision No. 121 of 2003 regarding the provision of nurseries for the children of working women to provide them with appropriate care.
The head of the institute indicated that the nursery was equipped with the latest necessary equipment, while ensuring that safety standards and appropriate health requirements were met, pointing out that the nursery was equipped with surveillance cameras. For constant reassurance of children, explaining that the capacity of the nursery reaches 40 children in the age group from 3 months to 4 years. It is also available to the children of workers and is not limited to the children of workers only, based on the institute’s keenness to support its members and provide them with a suitable environment.
For his part, Major General Khairy Hussein, head of Al-Nuzha district, praised the distinguished location of the Electronics Research Institute, appreciating the institute's opening of the nursery, which contributes to providing means of care for the children of the institute's affiliates, to enable them to achieve a balance between working and family life, praising the role of the institute in continuous encouragement and providing means of support and care. to its members and their families.
Dr. confirmed. Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Director of the Cairo Directorate, emphasized the importance of benefiting from the Institute’s capabilities in the projects of breadwinner women, through the Institute’s organization of training courses for women and children on assembling electronic device components, stressing the importance of supporting cooperation relations between the Nozha Department and the Institute, praising the Institute’s adherence to standards Civil Defense in the security and safety of the nursery in terms of providing fire extinguishers, alarms, as well as surveillance cameras.
The opening activities were attended by Major General Eng. Khairy Hussein, Head of Al-Nuzha District, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Director of the Cairo Directorate, Ms. Hiyam Al-Azazy, Director General of the Social Solidarity Department in Al-Nuzha, Mrs. Nora Ahmed Mohamed, a family and childhood specialist in Al-Nuzha Department, and a group of gentlemen heads of specialized departments and laboratories at the institute, and a group of private and public staff members at the institute.
At the conclusion of the opening activities, Dr. Sherine Shield of the Institute for the head of the Al-Nuzha district, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Director General of the Social Solidarity Department in Al-Nuzha, and the family and childhood specialist in the Al-Nuzha administration, who praised the distinguished level of the nursery, especially in the use of modern and smart educational methods according to the vision of the institute, and the price of attendance is the use of targeted cartoon episodes, including the series "Light and the Gate of History" and other episodes prepared by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, in cooperation with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.
