ERI announces (within the technology incubators program) for an incubator E-Khorda II (Green Electrobekia)
The Electronics Research Institute announces the opening of the E-Khorda II (Green Electrobekia) incubator for entrepreneurship in the field of e-waste recycling. Green Electropecia is the first Egyptian governmental incubator specialized in the field of e-waste recycling under the supervision of the Electronics Research Institute and funded by the Center for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (Cedari). for electrical and electronic products.
The incubation period is one calendar year and includes the provision of the following services and benefits:
1. The incubator will provide training courses and workshops in business management and marketing.
2. Technical support and consultations through professors and researchers at the Electronics Research Institute, while providing a network of local and international experts in the field of entrepreneurship.
3. Providing assistance in all administrative, financial and legal aspects of the stages of establishing a start-up company.
4. Providing co-working spaces to host entrepreneurs in the field of incubation.
5. Benefit from the services provided by the central laboratories of the institute, such as the printed circuit boards laboratory, the prototypes laboratory, the cloud computing laboratory, and the nanotechnology laboratory.
6. Providing training courses in the field of dealing with electronic waste, recycling and management in terms of fault detection, dismantling and testing of computer components, and assembling the correct components to make computers that will be reused again.
Terms of application and registration: -
1. Registration and submission in the incubator is available to Egyptians only.
2. A university qualification is preferred
3. The number of project team members must not be less than two, and a project team leader must be allocated so that he is dedicated to the project.
4. The project/company that wishes to incubate may not be incubated in another incubator or business accelerator at the same time it is incubated at the institute.
5. The applicant(s) bear full responsibility for any content or data submitted.
