Visit the General Secretariat of National Proj in the Council of Ministers to follow up the rates of implemeting of national projects
The Head of the Electronics Research Institute, Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader Muharram, received Engineer Haitham Mazen, member of the General Secretariat for Follow-up of National Projects in the Council of Ministers. This is to determine the implementation rates of the ongoing projects at the institute, the scientific city, and the clean room, and to overcome any obstacles to them, at the institute’s headquarters in New Nozha.This comes within the framework of the political leadership’s directives regarding the importance of continuous follow-up of the national projects implemented by the Egyptian state as the engine of development during the current and future period.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Electronics Research Institute gave a visual presentation about the institute and the scientific departments it includes, as well as the central and specialized research laboratories, in addition to presenting the services that are provided through the Science and Technology City for Electronics Research and Industry (STPERI) affiliated with the Electronics Research Institute as the first scientific and technological city. To follow up on the implementation rates of the institute’s equipment and buildings, and the ongoing construction and equipment work in the Science and Technology City for Electronics Research and Industry, and also to follow up on the project to establish a clean room for the semiconductor industry, where the most important challenges and requirements necessary to complete these projects were monitored.This came in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Fakhr, Supervisor of the Scientific Departments and General Administration of the Central Laboratories at the Institute, Dr. Mahmoud Salem, Supervisor of Technical and Administrative Affairs at the Institute, and the consultants responsible for these projects.
During the tour, engineer Haitham Mazen inspected the institute’s central laboratories, including: the printed electronic circuit manufacturing laboratory, the modeling and design laboratory, the electronic waste processing laboratory, the research and manufacturing laboratory for lithium-ion batteries, the specific absorption rate measurement laboratory, the virtual and augmented reality laboratory, and the circuit manufacturing and measurement laboratory.
