During the activities of the visit, the Zambian minister inspected the research and scientific capabilities and specialized laboratories of the institute, and a meeting was held; To discuss possible cooperation mechanisms between the Institute and the Ministry of Technology and Science of the Republic of Zambia, where the Zambian minister affirmed his country's keenness to strengthen partnership and cooperation relations with Egypt as a leading country in the African continent in general, and with the Electronics Research Institute in particular, in the field of electronics and communication and information technology.

Sherine pointed out that this meeting comes within the framework of implementing the Institute's strategy and increasing international cooperation, which has the greatest impact in providing the appropriate and appropriate environment for the Science and Technology City for electronics research and industry affiliated to the Institute. For his part, the Zambian minister expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Egyptian state to provide these capabilities at the institute, which proves Egypt's keenness to support and develop the electronics industry due to the great importance of this field, praising the efficiency of the research staff at the institute, and the institute's support for innovations and research outputs capable of quantitative manufacture, and a manufacturing laboratory.
