A cooperation protocol to develop the Egyptian product using scientific research techniques
In light of the state’s keenness to link scientific research with the industrial community to achieve industrial integration between local producers and scientific research and development centers and institutes for the Egyptian product, a team from the Industrial Modernization Center represented by the Department of Digital Transformation for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Electronics Research Institute of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited one of the companies The industrial sector represented by Siraj Industrial Company in Ain Sokhna.
The delegation was headed by Prof. Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader Muharram, Acting President of the Electronics Research Institute, and the delegation included Assistant Professor Dr. Aref Eleiwa, Dr. Tamer Shehata, Eng. Magdy Kamel from the Electronics Research Institute, Eng. Mohamed Thabet, and Professor Suha Talaat from the Industrial Modernization Center
The talks dealt with aspects of joint cooperation that will result in developing the local product, training human cadres, supporting research projects and industrial innovations that are applicable to serve the industrial sector in the field of modern lighting development.
In the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Siraj Industrial Company, Eng. Nabil Youssef, Director of Business Development Haitham Abdel Salam, Director of Research and Development Mahmoud Fouda, and Director of Public Relations Asma Samir, where it was agreed to strengthen joint cooperation in the field of modern lighting in order to encourage the application of scientific research outputs, import substitution and integration Efforts with each other and investing the capabilities and experiences that already exist and making good use of them.
This is in addition to qualifying engineering college students for the labor market and benefiting from the measurement, testing and accreditation laboratories available to both parties.
