The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces that the Electronics Research Institute won first place at the level of research centers and institutes in the MOSAIC competition for the best Egyptian universities and research centers in innovation and cooperation with industry. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced that the Electronics Research Institute won first place at the center level. And research institutes in the MOSAIC competition for the best Egyptian universities and research centers in innovation and cooperation with industry, according to standards similar to those of the global innovation and knowledge indicators, during the ceremony organized by the Fund for the Care of Innovators and Geniuses, in the presence of Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment. Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader Muharram, President of the Electronics Research Institute, expressed her happiness that the Institute won first place in this competition, which included five main axes, namely (human and research capital, infrastructure and development of the business environment, market development, knowledge and technology outputs, and creative outputs), pointing out the victory. The institute is considered the highest research institute in the first, second, fourth and fifth axis. Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader thanked the Minister and those in charge of the competition’s activities. She also thanked all the professors, researchers and employees of the Electronics Research Institute, stressing the full potential of the Institute and the Science and Technology City for electronics research and industry affiliated with the Institute. To support the knowledge-based economy and access to locally made products, and to cooperate with industrial bodies in the fields of electronics, communications, and digital technology, noting the Institute’s support for the field of activating entrepreneurship, technology transfer and marketing offices, technological incubators, and entrepreneurship projects, which in turn leads to spreading the culture of technological creativity. , nurturing talented people, and supporting the transformation of ideas into commercially viable products in the field of electronics, information and communications technology.
