ERI wins four awards at the Seventh Cairo International Innovation Fair
Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader Muharram, President of the Electronics Research Institute, announced that the Institute won four awards at the “Seventh Cairo International Innovation Fair 2023”, which was held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the Kingdom’s participation in Portugal as a guest of honor this year during the period from February 13-14 in the New Administrative Capital.
The head of the institute, who d. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Higher Education, Major General / Hisham Amna, Local Development, and Dr. Mahmoud Saqr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, distributed the awards on the closing day of the exhibition, Tuesday.
The head of the Electronics Research Institute explained the awards as follows: First: in the axis of new and renewable energy for the project “Sustainability and operation of the Egyptian-Chinese plant for new energy in Sohag, with its connection to the electrical network,” where participants from the research institute consisting of: (Dr. Mohamed Zahran, Mahmoud Salem, d. Yousry Attia, Dr.
Second: The axis of deepening local manufacturing on the project "A variety of solar panels manufactured by the Egyptian Factory for Renewable Energy", in which participants from the research institute consisting of: (Dr. Muhammad Zahran, Dr. Mahmoud Salem, Dr. Yousry Attia), and Dr. M / Aref Aliwa, Dr. Mahmoud Hassanein, Dr. Muhammad Mustafa).
Third: In the axis of agriculture, for the project "Portable heating device".
Fourth: The water axis in the project "Intervention in the use of electrothermal energy interventions", the researcher's introduction, d. Prince Yassin.
It is worth noting that the Electronics Research Institute participated in the 7th Cairo International Innovation Fair in a number of events, including: technological incubators, the Children's University, and the closing ceremony of the "Toot" child project.
