Dr. Ayman Ashour, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Universities Affairs, announced during the ceremony of announcing the results and awarding prizes for the competitions of Egyptian universities and research institutes, winning the Electronics Research Institute as the best website at the level of research institutes and centers. The President of the Republic during the Sixth Youth Conference in 2018 at Cairo University by holding competitions between Egyptian universities; To motivate universities to develop and develop in all fields within the framework of Egypt’s 2030 vision, on several axes, namely: the best university in preparing for the 2020/2021 academic year, The best university that has made efforts in the face of the emerging corona virus pandemic, the best website at the level of universities, research centers and institutes, the best applied project related to the community, the best government university in the field of graduate studies, research and applied research published in terms of creativity and its association with industry, and the best environmentally friendly university, in addition to To the competition between university students and faculty members to beautify the visual image of the new administrative capital It has been done by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Ayman Ashour, Deputy Minister for Universities Affairs, honored Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader Muharram, Acting President of the Electronics Research Institute, for obtaining the Institute's award for the best website. For scientific research through those competitions that enrich the scientific research environment with competition between universities, research centers and institutes, which in turn leads to integration among them in order to reach scientific leadership. Her Excellency indicated that the Institute's website is distinguished by its design that works on mobile systems and operating systems on various computers, and that the current design follows the standards for designing pages and websites in terms of using templates in design and images, as well as following the standards for quality of performance, ease of browsing and data access. The site is also linked to many internal systems of the institute, such as the Scientific Affairs System, which allows members of the research staff to register for many research services, such as electronic publishing, attending conferences, or requesting the recruitment of experts, where the request can be registered and followed up on the system electronically. The site also contains two important services, namely the e-learning service and the training center service, through which it is possible to register and book training courses through the site with the possibility of electronic payment through integration with electronic payment systems and the training system. The site is also characterized by being secured with an identity certificate and encryption with secured identity accounts for users, which ensures the security of the data and services provided, and backup copies are made automatically and periodically. The site also contains a technical consultancy service, through which various parties that face technical problems in the field of electronics and information and communication technology can communicate through registration on the site and send the technical problem. Professors and specialists respond directly, which has a positive impact towards linking scientific research with industry. Finally, Dr. Sherine added that the Electronics Research Institute aspires for the Institute's website to be a marketing interface for its various activities and services to the industrial community and civil society, not just an introductory interface.
