The Electronics Research Institute organizes the closing ceremony of the first phase of the Entrepreneurship Club with the support and participation of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology
Dr. announced. Sherine Abdel Qader Muharram, President of the Electronics Research Institute, announced that the Institute is organizing the closing ceremony activities for the first phase of the Entrepreneurship Club at the Institute, in implementation of the Institute’s strategic plan, and in accordance with the innovation, entrepreneurship and business axis of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research, noting that the work of the Entrepreneurship Club project began in June 21, 2021 Under the supervision of the Electronics Research Institute, and with the support and participation of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology
She praised Dr. Sherine describes the role played by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in the field of activating entrepreneurship, technology transfer and marketing offices, technological incubators, and entrepreneurship accelerators, which in turn lead to spreading the culture of technological creativity, nurturing talented people, and supporting the transformation of ideas into products. It is commercially applicable in the field of electronics, information and communications technology, stressing the Institute’s keenness to pay attention to entrepreneurship programs and support innovators and creators from all segments of society.
The ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader, Head of the Institute, Dr. Hala Al-Sadiq, the main researcher for the Entrepreneurship Club project, Dr. Wafa Abdel Rashid, international trainer in entrepreneurship and executive director of the Taiko Offices and Entrepreneurship Clubs Program at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Dr. Tamer Ahmed is a consultant and expert in entrepreneurship and technological project development, with the participation of club members and teams that were trained in the club’s various stages.
Dr. reviewed. Hala Al-Sadiq The achievements of the Institute’s Entrepreneurship Club in its first phase, including: holding four work camps for training on Design Thinking, holding entrepreneurship competitions for students, holding an entrepreneurship week and providing intensive training, providing technical and motivational lectures in various fields, creating an LMS system to place all the lectures. And scientific materials to maximize benefit, creating a family for the club’s 1,050 members (the number of members who were trained from inside and outside the institute is 882 members).
For her part, Dr. indicated. Wafa Abdel Rashid emphasized the role of entrepreneurship clubs in creating a suitable environment for entrepreneurs, noting that the club is a learning environment by doing. To encourage entrepreneurship skills among participants from all segments of society, as these programs contribute to a positive impact on the economy and strategic management thought.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Tamer Ahmed gave the closing lecture, reviewing the success stories and challenges facing entrepreneurs. Then the club members and distinguished teams were honored and handed over to them with certificates of honor.
It is worth noting that the entrepreneurship clubs established by the Academy of Scientific Research have a number of advantages, including enhancing the culture of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship among young people and providing all their needs to be successful entrepreneurs and emerging companies in the future, building and developing skills in the field of entrepreneurship and self-employment and incubating ideas. Pioneering projects and providing distinguished training to transform research ideas into valuable products in the Egyptian knowledge economy system, qualifying distinguished teams to apply for technological incubator programs, establishing work camps for training in brainstorming and innovative thinking in Design Thinking, holding a Startup weekend competition with the aim of forming startup companies, participating in Competitions to create a positive spirit of competition, such as the Business Clubs League organized by the Academy to reach the champion of the Entrepreneurship Clubs League
