Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, received a report submitted by Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader, Acting President of the Electronics Research Institute, on the Institute’s launch of the Entrepreneurship Club in the field of electronics research and its applications, funded by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology The report pointed out that the activities of the club's launch included organizing a celebration at the headquarters of the new institute in Al -Nuzha, in the presence of Dr. Hisham El Deeb, the main researcher of the project and the former head of the institute, and Dr. Hala Al -Sadiq, the alternate researcher of the project, and Dr. Wafaa Abdel Rashid, the international coach in entrepreneurship and executive director of the Taiko offices and entrepreneurship clubs at Academy Scientific research and technology.
Dr. Sherine praised the role played by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology for the efforts made in the field of activating entrepreneurship, technology transport and marketing offices, technological incubators, and entrepreneurship accelerators, which in turn lead to the spread of a culture of technological creativity, talented care, support for conversion Ideas to commercial applicable products in the field of electronics, information and communications technology.
For his part, Dr. Hisham El -Deeb pointed to the challenges facing young entrepreneurs and opportunities available to them through the Entrepreneurship Club, stressing the importance of highlighting the young entrepreneurs and the importance of marketing their projects through free advertising that add credibility to their efforts.
It is worth noting that the club includes many activities, including: spreading awareness and community service culture for entrepreneurship through the club's activities and training, providing guidance for young business leaders, communication between students with leadership thinking and businessmen by holding meetings and interacting between them through the club, and promoting a culture Creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship among young people, providing all their needs, qualifying the distinguished teams to apply to the technological incubator "Road", establishing work camps for training in brainstorming and innovative thinking, and participating in the Business Clubs League held by the Academy to reach the champion of the Entrepreneurship Clubs in Egypt.
It should be noted that the club provides an appropriate environment for entrepreneurship from training and education mechanisms, as well as developing scientific and research outputs; In order to reach a new service or product, the club supports students and encourages them to create small business models that will be the starting point for successful entrepreneurship and pave the way for distinguished and innovative ideas that are useful for entering incubation programs and various competitions.
