ERI Summer Training Program 2026 – Second Phase
As part of the initiative to localize the electronics and information technology industry, the Electronics Research Institute (ERI), affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the Second Phase of the ERI Summer Training Program 2026.
The program is designed for students of Faculties of Engineering, Computers and Information, Artificial Intelligence, Technological Universities, Higher Institutes, and other related disciplines.
The program provides comprehensive theoretical and hands-on training within the Electronics Research Institute through its training facilities, central laboratories, and specialized research laboratories. It offers participants the opportunity to gain practical experience and exposure to the latest engineering technologies and advanced applications in the fields of electronics, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, and intelligent systems.
The program also aims to enhance students' technical and practical skills, bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world applications, and provide valuable training experience within a specialized research and technological environment.

⏱ Total Training Hours:60 hours
📆 Training Schedule:12 training days (3 days per week)
💰 Training Fee: EGP 1,500 per training track

Track 1: Renewable Energy and Its Applications

• Fundamentals of renewable energy systems and their engineering applications.
• Introduction to photovoltaic systems, their main components, operating principles, and practical applications.
• Overview of On-Grid, Off-Grid, and Hybrid PV system configurations.
• Introduction to wind energy systems, including wind turbines, generators, and energy conversion principles.
• Overview of biomass energy, green hydrogen technologies, and energy storage systems.
• Introduction to the design and performance analysis of renewable energy systems using specialized engineering software.
• Practical training inside specialized laboratories.
• Field visits and hands-on exposure to the operating rooftop photovoltaic stations at the Electronics Research Institute.

Important Instructions
📌 Registration is confirmed only upon completion of both the registration process and the payment.
📌 Applicants must select the appropriate training group based on the start date, training days, and session schedule.
📌 Seats are limited. Registration for each training group may close once the maximum capacity has been reached.
📌 Participants must attend at least 75% of the total training hours to be eligible for a Certificate of Training Completion.
📌 All lectures and practical training sessions will be conducted at the laboratories and training facilities of the Electronics Research Institute (ERI).
