



ERI organizes a party for the winners of the 2023 Ideal Woman Competition
The Electronics Research Institute headed by Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader Muharram held a party for the winners of the 2023 Ideal Woman Competition, coinciding with the celebration of International Women's Day and Mother's Day celebrations.
In her speech, the President of the Institute emphasized the importance of the role of women in society, explaining that Egypt believes in supporting and empowering women to support the country's economic, political and social development plans. She congratulated the award winners, stressing the Institute's keenness to honor ideal models of women. Upholding the value of women and appreciating their role in the field of work.
I directed dr. Sherine thanks the exemplary women at the institute, as well as thanking the wives of the institute's employees for enduring the hardships of their husbands' work, and the burdens of family and life.
During the ceremony, Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader, the winners, and this year the award was won by Dr. Ninet Mohamed Ahmed, Emeritus Professor, Department of Photovoltaic Cells, Ms. Safeya Zaghloul Abdel Tawab, Department of Human Resources, Ms. Samira Abdo Saleh, Department of Scientific Affairs.
For his part, Dr. explained. Osama Dowidar, Acting Secretary-General of the Institute, said that honoring the ideal female workers at the Institute carries a very important message, supporting Egyptian women, strengthening their role in society, and doubling their contribution to the development plans undertaken by the Egyptian state.
For his part, the head of the Institute's Social Committee indicated that the winners did not apply themselves for the award, but were nominated by their female colleagues to win the award.
The ceremony was attended by a group of heads of scientific departments and research laboratories, members of the Research Authority, and a group of private and public staff members of the institute.
