



ERI opens three classes to eradicate the illiteracy of the institute’s employees
Dr. Sherine Muhammad Abdel Qader Muharram, Head of the Electronics Research Institute, organized three classes for literacy and adult education for the institute’s employees, in coordination with the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education.
During her speech, Dr. explained. Sherine Muharram said that the opening of literacy classes at the institute came within the framework of the strategic plan of the Electronics Research Institute, and in light of developing the capabilities and skills of the institute’s employees to keep pace with developments, as well as to complement the societal role that the institute plays in development projects.
The head of the Electronics Research Institute stressed the importance of these classes, which aim to train and raise the capabilities and skills of workers of both sexes, encourage and motivate students to continue their path of learning, and urge them to attend literacy classes, directing the need to overcome all obstacles that stand in the way of completing the educational process for them.
Dr. indicated. Sherine Muharram pointed out that the adult literacy initiative is considered a continuation of the efforts of the Electronics Research Institute in linking and integrating with various sectors of society. There are many initiatives that the Institute seeks to implement in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Social Solidarity and other parties.
It is worth noting that the three classes that were opened include 21 members of the Institute’s employees, who are being trained, as well as employees of cleaning, security and maintenance companies contracting with the Institute within a framework of partnership and integration, out of belief in the importance of such initiatives that aim to raise cultural and educational awareness.
