The distinguished Egyptian scientist, Professor Dr. Yahya Antar, Professor at the Royal Canadian Military College and President of the Antennas and Wave Propagation Society at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, was hosted.

To give a public lecture at this workshop. Specialists from inside and outside the institute were invited to attend the symposium. Through that symposium, Professor Dr. Yahya Antar learned about the human capabilities and modern laboratory capabilities of the Institute. His Excellency expressed his admiration for the level to which the Institute has risen. His Excellency pointed out many of the opportunities available to the Institute through grant opportunities provided by the Antennas and Wave Propagation Society at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, as well as opportunities Joint cooperation in research and research projects
