A joint cooperation protocol between the Electronics Research Institute and Alexandria University
Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, President of Alexandria University, and Dr. Sherine Moharram, Acting President of the Electronics Research Institute, signed a joint cooperation protocol with the aim of enhancing cooperation between the two sides in the fields of exchange and dissemination of scientific research and studies and establishing a partnership that contributes to achieving sustainable development in implementation of Egypt’s Sustainable Development Strategy 2030, as well as On cooperation in the fields of creativity, innovation, marketing and promotion of the activities of each party to the other, the implementation of joint training programs and workshops, and the empowerment of young people in the field of scientific research, industry and entrepreneurship, in the presence of Dr. Institute of Graduate Studies and Research, and representatives of the Electronics Research Institute
Dr. Kansouh stressed that the University of Alexandria adopts an ambitious strategic plan that aims to develop and develop the educational process, provide the appropriate environment for learning and raise the level of the university’s cadres of researchers and faculty members through continuous training, as well as encouraging enrollment in graduate programs for college graduates to continue studying after graduation, in addition to supporting cooperation with Local and international research centers, noting that the university possesses a strong technological environment and supports modern information technology in it, in order to employ and keep pace with technological development in the research and academic processes. A strong scientific study, which aims to create an environment that encourages science and technology, prepare scientific cadres, and conduct joint research between the two sides to serve the Egyptian society and state, and is implemented within the university according to a well-studied plan, confirming the university’s direction towards establishing a smart campus based on digital transformation to be a fourth-generation university .
While Dr. Sherine Muharram confirmed that she is proud and proud of the cooperation with Alexandria University, which is one of the oldest Egyptian universities, stressing that the protocol comes within the framework of conducting theoretical and applied studies and research in advanced technology in the field of electronics and preparing researchers distinguished by the required scientific excellence and the necessary industrial experience to be able to solve problems She pointed out that the agreement aims to support the economy and increase investment opportunities in the outputs of scientific research and entrepreneurship, especially in the field of digital transformation and the applications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
While Dr. Hassan Nadir stressed that the agreement aspires to develop scientific research in Egypt, link scientific research with industry, exchange expertise and technical and scientific consultations between the two parties, maximize benefit from the research laboratories of the two sides, and establish joint research projects in the fields of electronics, information and communication technology, and renewable energy.
