



A cooperation protocol between the Electronics Research Institute and Stack Company for Computer Systems and Technology
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stressed the importance of uniting efforts; To advance the scientific research system, adopt the idea of a knowledge economy, and actively contribute with the various state institutions, in a way that contributes to achieving the sustainable development goals "Egypt Vision 2030", doubling knowledge production and improving quality; To address societal challenges and increase the competitiveness of the national industry.
In this context, and based on the national role played by the Electronics Research Institute as a house of expertise in the field of electronics industry in Egypt, Dr. Sherine Mohamed Abdel Qader Moharram, Acting President of the Institute, signed a joint cooperation protocol with Major General Khaled Ahmed Yassin, the official representative of Stack Computer Systems and Technology .
She indicated d. Sherine pointed out that the protocol aims to contribute to achieving many strategic goals, including contributing to achieving technological development and using the best technologies to save energy, developing and refining the technological skills of Stack Computer Systems and Technology in the manufacture and development of electronic searchlights, as well as cooperation to reach a model for the smart energy saving system using Homemade products.
As a start to activate the work axes of the protocol, the first agreement and a joint contract was signed between the two sides, which includes the Electronics Research Institute providing technical advice, reviewing and approving the design of street lighting products, which will be used to illuminate villages within the presidential initiative "Decent Life", as well as reviewing the design of electronic panels. Gerber file prepared by the company, as well as review the list of components for the electronic board BOM.
It is worth noting that the outputs of the protocol are based on several axes, the most important of which is providing technical advice from specialists at the Electronics Research Institute in many areas of the electronics and information technology industry, and contributing to the development and manufacturing processes of locally-made products and developing the human element through training cadres to refine technological skills. These outputs are achieved through the conclusion of a number of joint cooperation contracts between the two parties, according to the nature of the work required for each contract.
